From my own ballistic experience, a good way to get expanded bullets is to shoot them into water jugs at close range (10-15 feet). I found 9mm hollowpoints to open very symetrically and violently. May I reccomend the Winchester Silvertip 115 grain, or the Federal 147 Grain Hydrashok. PMC makes a nice Starfire in 115 grain persausion.
