Drive-By Shooting

Drive-By Shooting is a meditation about gun-related violence shot from Anderson's moving car. While filming neighborhood streets and houses in Ft. Worth, Texas, Anderson reads in dead-pan style police reports of violent crimes. Hundreds of these scenes and stories are presented, one after another, every fifteen seconds (the rate at which these crimes occur). Anderson's video tape is a portrait of so-called "ordinary crime," the kind that doesn't make the evening news, yet is a relentless fact of our everyday lives.
